Crew Truck/1 ton Picker Truck Operator/Skilled Labourer

Work Type: Permanent/Steady State
Project Location: Rainbow Lake
Shift: Day
Schedule:
- 24/4, 10hr – 12hr/Day (8 hours regular
- 1 hour travel and OT after)
- Overtime over 8 day/ 44 week or open to DSPs (no OT)
Accommodations:
Camp OR Subsistence if wishing to arrange own local accommodation
Travel Details:
Travel allowance provided based on distance from site - lump sum for start and end of shift rotation travel only
Responsibilities:
Crew Truck/1-Ton Operator will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Able to operate a 1-ton picker truck
- Assisting welders with pipe fabrication in the shop
- Assist with pipeline installation and field repairs
- Work alongside the crew foreman assisting with bolt-up, installation of piping spools, operating crew trucks (one ton knuckle boom picker)
- Assist with hydro testing of pipe
- Painting and sandblasting
- Assist with decommissioning and abandoning of existing pipelines and facilities
- General shop and yard maintenance
- Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
- Performs physically demanding tasks
- Understand and follow company safety management system and core values
Experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of industry related experience
Certificates & Licences
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification
- Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA issued ticket is the general requirement)
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space (optional)
- Valid Driver's License and a clean 3-year abstract
Equipments & Tools
- All workers also must be clean shaven and must supply their own coveralls and work boots.
