Construction Projects in Edmonton, Alberta: Labourers Needed ($25.00 Per Hour, Group Benefits)

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load and unload construction materials.
• Use necessary hand tools
• Put together and take apart temporary structures.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist craft workers.
• Ready to learn on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Help promote a work safe environment.
• Qualifications:
• Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of team.
• Experience with basic power and construction tools.
• Ability to do physical labor, be able to stand, knee, crouch, bend and walk.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Must own PPE and transportation to job site.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Good work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Safety Requirements:

All other safety courses are an asset and maybe required for specific jobs.
