What Catalyst Construction Services Inc. is Hiring for:

Excavator Operators
Dozer Operators
Rock Truck Drivers

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment to load, transport, move, spread, and grade materials on land development and civil construction sites.
Perform pre-operational inspections, preventative maintenance, and complete logbook entries for all heavy machinery.
Immediately report any equipment defects or repairs needed to the supervisor.
Conduct routine cleaning, greasing, and fueling of equipment, ensuring all machinery is well-maintained and ready for use.
Safely secure and store all equipment and maintain accurate inventory records.
Communicate effectively with the crew using hand signals and radio, while ensuring safety compliance on site.
Remain aware of all construction site conditions that could impact equipment operation, including overhead power lines, other workers, and mobile equipment.
Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean job site, adhering to construction safety protocols and wearing all required PPE (e.g., steel toe boots, hard hats, safety vests).
Assist with various housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and rock trucks.
Ability to handle a range of equipment attachments and adjust to the needs of any construction or land development project.
Familiarity with civil construction and experience working in the land development industry & underground utilities is a strong asset.
Leadership skills with the potential to move into a foreman, site manager, or supervisory role.
Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset, with the ability to take and give constructive criticism.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
