CNC Router Operator needed in NW San Antonio for a well-established Sign Company.
Starting pay is $17.00 - $19.00 hourly DOE.
Monday Friday, 8: 00am 5: 00pm work schedule.
Primary duties:
- Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
- Plan stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. - Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards.
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer' s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Previous CNC Router Experience
- Sign experience preferred
- Able to pass background check and drug screen.
