Permanent, full-time CNC Machinist in Bolton, ON. 

  • Pay rate: Up to $37/hour based on experience
  • Location: Bolton, ON
  • Shifts: Rotational

  • Responsibilities:

  • Create new work processes/procedures for existing and new machines to drive productivity improvements
  • Operate CNC Precision Mill/Lathes, CNC Jigbore, and/or CNC Universal Grinding Machines
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations through LEAN principles
  • Determine root cause analysis/troubleshoot and problem solve errors with quality
  • Complete work orders and associated documents utilizing Microsoft applications
  • Inspect and record part quality utilizing various precision metrology equipment
  • Provide leadership, support, mentoring and training to other team members
  • Create, troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs and processes
  • Read and work from complex part drawings and 3D CAD models
  • Provide instructions and delegate tasks as required
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-years of CNC Machining experience is required
  • Previous work experience using hand tools and measuring tools (Turning, Milling, Grinding machining centres)
  • Experience with understanding GD&T symbols for parts made, and manufacturing any part designed in manufacturing  
  • Ability to interpret complex CAD drawings and navigate through models to obtain necessary information and detect errors
  • Capable of solving math and geometry problems presented at machines
  • Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and provide guidance to other team members
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20lbs independently
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft applications
  • College diploma, inspection experience and CMM operation is an asset
