West Fraser is hiring Certified Welders at its Chetwynd Forest Industries site. This hands-on maintenance role involves inspecting, repairing, and assembling mechanical systems and hydraulics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must hold a valid provincial or inter-provincial journeyperson certification and be ready to work flexible shifts.

What you’ll need:

  • Provincial or inter-provincial journeyperson welding or millwright certification
  • Strong problem-solving and blueprint-reading skills

  • Flexible availability for shift work

What will make you stand out:

  • Working knowledge of sawmill and planer maintenance
  • Experience with hydraulic systems and cylinder repairs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
