Camp Chefs in AB: 20/10 Rotation + Paid Travel

Horizon North, part of Dexterra Group, is hiring experienced Camp Chefs for its fire camp facilities in Alberta. This is a fly-in/fly-out style role offering a consistent 20/10 rotation and paid travel from Edmonton. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of culinary experience and strong leadership in remote or large-scale kitchen environments.

What you'll need:

• Journeyperson or Red Seal Certificate (preferred)
• SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification
• 10+ years’ hospitality/food service experience
• 5+ years as a Chef in hotels, resorts, or remote lodges
• Proficiency in menu planning, inventory, wage control, and large-scale kitchen operations
• Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing and fitness assessment
