We are seeking temporary (6week-contract ) Assembly operators to start as soon as possible. Shift patterns are 4-day (10-hour shifts) followed by 4 days off after. You will be asked to provide your availability during the recruitment process.

The Role:

  • Subassembly and final assembly of simple and complex electro-mechanical products incorporating electrical wiring; fluid circulation, and thermal transfer hardware.
  • Assembly and production of Coldplate Loops, Manifold, Tube Assemblies, and Heat Exchanger Module Products.
  • Assembly of hardware components using hand, pneumatic, and electric power tools; and custom assembly fixtures.
  • Ensure products are assembled per manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
  • Work to production deadlines to meet customer delivery dates.
  • Strive to attain key performance metrics for Manufacturing & Quality.
  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in performing all activities.

Your Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma required
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Prior experience with hand tools in Electro-Mechanical Assembly in a manufacturing environment, wood workshops, or construction.
  • Basic math and measurement skills (i.e. fractions and decimals; imperial and metric) are required.
  • Requires physical mobility and strength to exert up to 20 kg (44 lbs) of lifting force occasionally, up to 10 kg of force lifting frequently, and negligible force to operate material handling equipment.
  • IPC-A-610 soldering certification is an asset.
