Apprentice Pipefitters (LOA $175/day + Travel Pay + Shuttle)

ClearStream is looking for Apprentice Pipefitters that can work independently, that will be working directly with turnaround managers and other pipefitters doing layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. 

Please note these are temporary roles to start May 22nd for 3 weeks, with opportunity to be transferred to other turnarounds afterwards.  Locations for this client will be around RAM RIVER, STOLBERG and BLACKSTONE, AB. Busing will be available from Rocky Mountain House

What you’ll be doing: 

• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.  
• Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required.  
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.  
• Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position.  
• Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.  
• Perform other duties as required.

• Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site
• CSTS-2020 (online)
• H2S Alive (In classroom course)
• Fall Protection (In classroom course)
• Standard First Aid (In classroom course)
• Aerial Work Platform (In classroom course)
