What PCL Construction is Hiring for:

PCL Energy is seeking Apprentice Electricians for our Cascade Power Plant project located Southwest of Edson Alberta.

  • Apprentice Electricians - Alberta, Alberta (Job Number: 211533)
  • Long term duration.
  • LOA and Travel available.

Work Conditions & Remuneration:

  • Apprentice Electrician period 1 base wage starts from $27.17 per hour
  • $140 LOA  available for those who qualify
  • $150 rotational travel (outside of 80 km from site) available for those who qualify
  • Long term duration expected until end of 2023
  • 10% Vacation and Stat pay paid on each pay cheque
  • 6% RSP contribution
  • 2% Matching Pension
  • 10 days on 4 days off shift rotation
  • 10 hours per day: 8 hours Regular Time and 2 hours Overtime per day worked
  • Two 30-minute breaks (first break paid)
  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
  • Must have reliable transportation 
  • Safety training provided
