What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Cameco’s treasury team is responsible for daily activity and reporting relating to cash and liquidity management, financial risk management and debt management.  Team members manage domestic and international cash forecasting activities and ensure efficient, timely and accurate collection, analysis and monitoring of cash flow data.  Other duties may include managing banking relationships and bank account maintenance, evaluating investment strategies and providing insight on market conditions and investment/borrowing opportunities, as well as developing and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate financial risk. 

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, with a major in finance or an applicable field
  • Three to five years of applicable work experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

Assets:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • CPA, Certified Treasury Professional or CFA designation
  • Experience in the management of cash, debt and financial risk mitigation
