Aftermarket Solutions Ltd is a leader in providing top-tier heavy equipment repair and maintenance services. We are expanding our team and are looking for Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our Grande Prairie and Nisku locations.

**Due to the complexity of the job, we are currently only able to hire candidates that live and are legally entitled to work in Canada.**

Available in Grande Prairie:

• 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Available in Nisku:

• 3rd year Shop Mechanics
• Journeyperson Mechanic

Job Overview

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our clients' machinery. Your role will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment used in construction, mining, and other industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Repair or replace defective parts on heavy equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections
• Adhere to safety regulations and company standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Apprenticeship ticket (2nd or 3rd year only) or Journeyperson Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
• Previous proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• CVIP license is considered an asset
