What You’ll Like About This Job

Matrix Service is seeking 6G-certified Tank Welders in California. This role involves performing advanced welding processes in line with ASME and API standards. Candidates must be proficient in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW, with experience in blueprint reading and precise fabrication. The job requires working at heights, in varying temperatures, and performing physically demanding tasks. A strong safety focus and adherence to company ethics are essential.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of three welding certifications (6G required for at least one)
  • Proficiency in arc gouging and welding without supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Experience working with ASME and API codes
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in extreme temperatures
