6 Electricians Needed in Peace River

This position is based on a client site in Peace River, AB. This position is expected to start as soon as possible, and it could run until after Christmas. There is LOA available for this position.   

What would you be doing?  

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts. 
• Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures. 
• Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. 
• Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators. 
• Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment. 
• Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

• Have a Journeyperson Electrician card or Apprentice Electrician ticket. 
• Valid and up to up-to-date tickets: Airial Work Platform and Fall Protection.
• Have high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets, and employees. 
• Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision. 
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines. 

Perks of the job 

• Journeyperson rate: $41.60
• 10 days on and 4 days off work schedule
• 10 hour shifts ( 8 hours regular time & 2 hours Overtime).
