5 Apprentice Electricians Needed in Northern BC

ClearStream is seeking Apprentice Electricians with maintenance and construction experience. ClearStream is looking to build our roster of qualified candidates to work maintenance and projects throughout our organization.

Candidates local to the Fort St. John area will be given preference at this time as we have current and future working coming up ASAP. Not from Fort St. John? We welcome all applicants especially if you are willing to relocate!

What you will be doing:   

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide wiring layouts.  
• Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.  
• Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.  

• Position, support and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, fiber optic cables, panels, and fuse enclosures.  
• Install, replace, support and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.  
• Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.  

We would love to hear from you if you:   

• Have a Apprentice Electrician Certificate
• Valid and up to date safety tickets: CSTS, WHMIS, H2S Alive and Fall Protection. Clean driver’s abstract. 
• Ability to work alone
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions. 
• Ability to do careful and rigorous work.   
• Basic hand tools are needed (pliers, screwdrivers, tool pouch etc.).
