$34.93/hr Skilled Labourer in Ft McMurray Wanted (Camp, 14x7, Fly-In, OT & Benefits)

NACG is looking for a labourer to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

• Site: Fort Hills
• Schedule: 14x7- 12 hours (paid for 11.5 hours) (Days and nights)
• Accommodations: Camp provided
• Transportation: Flights are provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts)
• Overtime: Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week
• Hourly Rate: Up to $34.93 per hour

The successful candidate will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. 

Qualifications

• Successful applicants must to be willing to help out in all tasks for general labourer duties.
• Must be physically fit and be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.

Summary

All successful candidates must:

1. Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
2. Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
3. Have experience as requested as mentioned above
4. Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
5. Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
6. Breath Alcohol Test, Urine Drug Test,, Fitness-to-Work Assessment, Audiometric Testing, Vision Screening, Criminal Record Check

All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:

1. CSO or BSO Certification
2. Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
3. Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
4. VOID cheque/direct deposit form
5. Silica Awareness
