$26.00 - $39.00 Per Hour Carpenters in Fort Mackay (14/14, Fly-In, Camp)

Genmec ACL is currently recruiting Journeyman Carpenter's to join our team at the Imperial Kearl Oilsands site.

The successful candidate will:

• Have ability to interpret blueprints, sketches or building plans
• Prepare layouts and patterns using measuring tools, including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work to measure and mark materials on new installs
• Repair and maintain doors, floors, windows, partitions, ceilings and exteriors of buildings
• Build shelves, cabinets and other wooden equipment
• Other duties that may be deemed necessary for maintenance work.

Requirements:

• Required tickets: H2S Alive, CSTS, 1st Aid, Fall Arrest AWP
• Class 5 Alberta driver’s license
• Must be team orientated, highly motivated with strong attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be comfortable with heights (ladders & lifts)
• Must be physically capable of performing tasks (lifting, bending, etc.)

Work Conditions:

• 14 on / 14 off 11.5 hour continuous shift rotation cycle
• Fly in / fly out with flights from Calgary or Edmonton. Travel to and from the travel hub is at your own expense.
