10 Millwrights Needed for May 23rd Shutdown Paying $60/hr DOE

Project Dates: May 23 - June 6th

We are currently looking to hire 10 Millwrights for a multiple plant shutdown projects in Alberta & BC. This specific job will be at a MEG plant shutdown starting May 23 until June 06th and will be working on a wide variety of rotating equipment (pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, etc)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Breakdown, Inspect, Diagnose, and make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs
• Repair the equipment in a timely and financially responsible manner;
• Testing and QC of equipment after repair
• Work as a team, training apprentices, coordinating with other departments
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals;
• Employ workplace health and safety practices at all times;
• Be motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a Journeyperson Millwright or Apprentice in periods 3/4. Other requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Interprovincial Red Seal is considered an asset
• Experience in repair/maintenance of rotating equipment
• Experience with Plant shutdown/turnaround projects
• Strong commitment to safety
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
