In a news release on their website Monday, Pembina Pipeline announced that work will resume on 2 of their key projects in 2021.

The release states that the Company's "positive outlook for the energy sector supports the re-start of two important growth projects, which is reflected in our 2021 guidance and capital budget".

Regarding the many challenges of 2020, Pembina claims to posses a "renewed sense of focus and optimism"

Pipeline Expansion

The pipeline expansion includes a new pipeline and associated infrastructure in the LaGlace-Valleyview-Fox Creek corridor in Alberta.

The Peace Pipeline expansion(s) are the extension of the Company's Peace Pipeline system, which delivers crude oil, condensate, and natural gas from northwestern Alberta to Edmonton, Alberta and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Empress co-generation facility

The Empress co-generation facility will use natural gas to generate up to 45 megawatts of electrical power. The project is expected to cost $120 million.
